Taylorsville, UT-Robert Kent Adams, age 73, passed away March 9, 2016. Born February 10, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leland and Eloise Hansen Adams. Married his high school sweetheart, Karen Noorda, in the Manti Temple February 14, 1964.
Bob enjoyed woodworking and building furniture for his friends and family. He had great desires to help others and found ways to give any way he could. Bob loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and throughout his life admonished us to do the things our Heavenly Father wants us to do. His love, counsel, and thoughtful generosity will greatly be missed.
Survived by his wife of 52 years; children, Kevan (Shellie), Shane (Amy), Kristen Pittman, and Megan (Nick) Adams; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, 6 siblings, granddaughter, Kaitlyn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Valley Park 6th Ward, 5233 South 3200 West, Taylorsville, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Sunday and one hour prior to the funeral, both at the church. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan Utah.
