Nash died at 4:45 p.m. at the Byrd Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Nash, a son, Roger Dale Nash of New Llano, three sisters, Mrs. C.C. McQueen of Tioga, La., Opal Wilkerson of Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs I.A. Pardue of Pineville, La. Cosby A. Nash married on Dec. 15, 1934 to Mary Evelyn Stevenson. (book N page 355)
