CARLTON VINCENT JACKSON, 83, well-known retired farmer and thresher, died Saturday afternoon in Thurmont. He was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth McDonald Jackson of Frederick County. Surviving are his wife, Gartrelia Alice Fogle Jackson; sons, Nevin, Morris and John Jackson, all of Thurmont; brother, Algie Jackson, Frederick; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Zimmerman, Thurmont; Mrs. Clara Green, Lewistown; Mrs. Berdie Long, Woodsboro; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the M.L. Creager and Son Funeral Home, Thurmont; interment in Utica Cemetery.
