ALGIE HERMAN JACKSON, formerly of Norva Avenue, died Saturday at the Frederick County Home where he had been a patient. He was aged 84 and was a son of the late Thomas and Josephine (McDonald) Jackson. His wife, Mary E. Oland Jackson predeceased him in 1966.
He was a painter by trade.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lester Long, Woodsboro; three step-children, Mrs. Albert H. Englebrecht, Mrs. Martin L. Benner, both of this city; J. Fred Oland, Baltimore.
Services were held at the M.R. Etchison and Son Funeral Home; interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
