MINONK - Rose B. Baer, 85, of Minonk died at 12:30 p.m. yesterday (May 6, 1991) at Lida Home, Minonk.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk, the Rev. Robert Gilles officiating. Burial will be in Rutland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Folkers-Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, where the rosary will be at 5:30 p.m. Mrs. Baer was born Dec. 23, 1905, in Rutland, a daughter of Veness and Frances Bunetta Copp. She married Harold "Ted" Baer in June 1932 in Minonk. He died March 26, 1989.
Surviving are one son, Joe Copp, Pontiac; one sister, Bernice Streeper, East Peoria; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Baer was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk, its Altar and Rosary Society, and Minonk Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was a former member of Rutland American Legion Auxiliary. She was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co. in East Peoria for 28 years.
Memorials may be made to the church.
