Judy Diane Butler, 67, of Newellton, Louisiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was born Sunday, November 21, 1948 in Delhi, Louisiana to Lonzy Clyde and Lula B. Plunkett Mathews. Mrs. Butler loved her Lord, her family and friends. She was always there with a helping hand for anyone in need. She married Malcolm P. Butler on January 6, 1967 in Epps, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Sidney Butler and numerous brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Malcolm P. Butler, daughters Sonia Waldrup (Roger) of Conway, Arkansas, Wendy Ryals (Todd) of Tallulah, Louisiana, grandchildren Brittnee Konieczka, Brody Brown, Logan Brown and Owen Ryals, great grandchildren Tanner White, Rylee Waldrup and Gunner White. Other survivors include brothers C. T. Mathews (Fran) of West Virginia, A. J. Mathews of Tennessee, Donnie Jo Mathews (Deanna) of Blanchard, Louisiana, sisters Joan Hale (Mitchell) of St. Joseph, Louisiana, and Sharon Fenwick (Jim) of Akron, Ohio along with a host of extended family and friends.
