Manuelito Maldonado, 65, started his final journey March 6, 2016.

He was born in Yakima, Washington to Ray & Ruth (Frank) Maldonado on January 17, 1965. Manuel resided most of his life in the Yakima Valley in Toppenish, WA. He was an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation.

Manuel was a cherished son, brother, father, grandpa, uncle, nephew to his family. Throughout his life he made many lifetime friendships, left many lasting impressions on all his friends and family members. His favorite things to do were to enjoy family gatherings, loved the Seattle Seahawks, hearing the traditional songs, spending time with his love Rhonda & his side kick Blackheart and he enjoyed visiting his many family and friends.

Manuel survived by his family and friends; along with his loving companion Rhonda Abraham; his loving brothers & sisters Ray (Bebe) Maldonado, Elizabeth (Sam) Tsezana, PeeDee (Bob) Crisman, Ronnie Maldonado, Lindsay Maldonado, Nadine (Victor) Maldonado and Alan Maldonado, also his two daughter’s Esther Ruth George & Jovita Colwash along with his six grandchildren. Manuel was loved by many, including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, along with all his friends and family members that meant so much to him. Manuel was preceded in death by many people he loved dearly. Including his father Ray Maldonado & his loving mother Ruth (Frank) Maldonado; his aunt Louise Frank Woods, along with his loving brother Bobby Maldonado, his sisters Judy Maldonado, Eva Maldonado, & Olga Maldonado. His maternal grandparents were the late Sally Hashneth & Wesley Frank. Katie Hunt Coon & Jack Coon were great grandparents.

His final steps to his journey will start with Tuesday March 8, 2016 with the dressing service at Colonial Funeral Home in Toppenish, WA starting at 1:00 pm. Following the dressing service overnight services will start at 7:00 pm at Toppenish Longhouse in Toppenish, WA. Services will conclude the morning of March 9, 2016 with a final service before departure at 9 am for burial at Reservation Park Cemetery in West Wapato, WA.
