Herlinda "Linda" Davila passed peacefully on March 1, 2016 in Seguin, TX due to natural causes at the age of 97. Ms. Davila was born on December 14, 1918 in Seguin, TX to her parents, Pedro and Concepcion Espinoza whom have preceded her in death; she is also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Davila; sisters, Juanita Flores, Petra Martinez, Delfina Rios; brother, Eduardo (Eddie) Espinoza; granddaughter, Jennifer Solis and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Elizabeth Solis.
Ms. Davila is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Esther and Floyd Frost of Soldotna, Alaska; her son, Juan Solis of Seguin, TX; her grandson and wife, Floyd Jr. and Michelle Frost of Texas; granddaughter and husband, Jodi and Lucas Stuart of Kenai, Alaska; granddaughters, Deanda Jean Arredondo, Carol Lynn Duhon, Shauna Starke; 13 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren and other numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 5:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Goetz Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 10:00am for a 10:30am Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home, Seguin, TX.
