Mrs. Claxton passed away March 5, 2016 in Bossier City, LA. She was born to Jack and Mary Ellen Waller Ballenger in Crims Chapel on November 16, 1932. Mrs. Claxton was a teacher's aide for Henderson ISD at Northside Intermediate School. She ran the resource room for South Main Church of Christ and also taught Sunday school classes. She was also enjoyed being a Band Mom and Band Grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Ellen Ballenger; husband, Bill E. Claxton; and grandson, Cameron Bumpass.
