Albert J. "Al" Pella, 67, of Ford City, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin.
Born May 25, 1938, in Ford City, the son of Albert J. and Freda Constantino Pella, he was a lifelong resident of the community.
Mr. Pella was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a salesman and repairman.
He was a former member of Holy Trinity Church, a member of the Polish Falcons, and the Ford City Eagles and an avid bowler, golfer and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori Duckstein and husband, George, of Clewiston, Fla.; two grandchildren, Sydney and Skylar Duckstein; sisters, Irene Mottura and Rosalie and Joseph Blongeaux, all of Vandergrift; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the MANTINI FUNERAL HOME, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Edward Lewis. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
