"AGED RESIDENT DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS - Oliver Kelly Began Failing Rapidly Saturday, Passing Away Monday Morning - Oliver Kelly, aged 82 years, resident of Titusville for about 35 years and veteran of the Civil war, passed away at his home, 107 Plum place, at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. Although Mr Kelly had been failing in strength for some time, he was only seriously ill and confined to his bed since Saturday. Funeral services in his memory will be conducted from the home, Thursday at 2 pm, Rev Albert Broadhurst, rector of St James' Memorial church, officiating, and the interment will be made in Woodlawn (sic) [Greenwood] cemetery. Mr Kelly was born near Parkers Landing, on March 16, 1843, and grew to manhood there. He early in life became a driller of oil wells and followed this work until weight of years compelled him to retire. He served in the Civil war with the 52nd New York volunteer infantry and was wounded in both legs in battle. He was united in marriage at Parkers Landing with Miss Lucinda Greenwood, who passed away four years ago this month, and the family came to Titusville about 35 years ago. To Mr and Mrs Kelly were born fourteen children, the following of whom survive: Charles Kelly, Mrs George Barker, Mrs Herbert Barker and Mrs W H Cooper of Titusville, Mrs Gene Carson of Erie, Mrs William Krebble of Wilmerding, Mrs R T Lewis of Sherman, NY, Clifford Kelly of Greensburg, Ky, and Mrs George Barr of Breckenridge, Tex. There are fifty-two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A brother, Walter Kelly of Parkers Landing, also survives." (Titusville Herald, June 2, 1925, p.5)

"Services in memory of Oliver Kelly will be conducted from the late home, Plum place, at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Rev Albert Broadhurst officiating, and the interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery instead of Woodlawn cemetery."
(Titusville Herald, June 3, 1925, p.2)

"Services in memory of Oliver Kelly were conducted from the family home, 107 Plum place, Thursday at 3 pm, Rev Albert Broadhurst, rector of St James' Memorial church, officiating. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends and numerous floral tribute[s], the interment being made in Greenwood cemetery, the following relatives acting as pall bearers: Robert McGarvie, William Cleland, Leroy Barker, Oliver Barker, James Carson and Morris Krebble."
