The sad news reached the city Monday that Mr. Eli Bellinger had passed away. Mr. Bellinger came here about two years ago and took charge of the electric light plant; which he operated until his health gave away. During the time he was married to the charming Miss Ada Lowry. Some months ago his health failed and the physicians could not give him any relief. He was removed to San Antonio where the best medical skill was employed, but without any success. Mrs. Bellinger was a most pleasant affable gentleman and made a host of friends while here, who deeply sympathize with the young wife and many relatives under their affliction. His remains were buried at San Antonio. Mrs. Lowry, Oran Bellinger, brother of the deceased and Miss Lucy Pharr went down Tuesday morning to attend the funeral.
