Charles Arthur Jones, b. 21 Nov 1865 in Kentish Town, St. Pancras Registration District, London, Middlesex County, England to Philip Jones and Robina Agnes Thomson. In 1885 he moved to Canada, bringing his parents a few years later. He served as an Immigration Officer in Canada in the 1890s, moved family to Goleta, Santa Barbara Co. California in 1916, became naturalized 8 Mar 1927, was walnut rancher on Fairview at Hollister, served as Constable of Goleta 1930-1940s, d. 20 Dec 1954.
Married Eugenia Genik (b. 24 May 1884 in Luicha, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Galicia, Ukraine), the daughter of Cyril Genik, (the first foreign employee of the Canadian government) on December 26, 1903 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
