Nancy passed away quietly surrounded by her loving family Friday 26, 2016, at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, Mass., after a sudden illness.

Attended Lawrence Public Schools, graduated from Lawrence High School and received her Associated Degree in Childhood Education at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass. She worked for many years at Haffner's Service Station Inc., in Lawrence before retiring in 2015. Nancy loved to read, sew, doing crafts with her grandchildren, and loved her family greatly.
Loving mother to her children Sherri Enaire and her husband Chad of North Andover, Cathy Nugent and her late husband Billy of North Andover, Daniel Carter and his fiancée, Joanna Jovell of North Andover, and Michael Carter Jr. and his wife Lisa of Brentwood, New Hampshire. Nancy was a treasured Nana to Iris, Lilyanna, Liam, Jacob, Page and Aryannah; loving sister to Wayne Marsland and wife Donna of Methuen; Victoria Marsland of Methuen; David Marsland and wife Lynne of Salem, NH; Christine Marsland of Methuen; She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
