MRS. IDA ZELLERS
Mrs. Ida L. Zellers, 92, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Warsaw, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Death was due to complications following a stroke suffered Dec. 5.
She was born Nov. 20, 1883 in a log cabin on Thorncreek Township, Whitley County, to Austin Bennett and Mary Jane (Cullers) Cook. On June 25, 1906 she was united in marriage at Fort Wayne to William H. Zellers. He preceded her in death in February, 1967.
Mrs. Zellers was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Cramer and Mrs. Mary Shaffer, both of Rt. 3, Columbia City.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the J. A. DeMoney and Son Funeral Home, Columbia City. Rev. H. Edwin Pease of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and Rev. Roy Hollopeter, pastor of the Etna United Methodist Church, will officiate and interment will be in Stough cemetery in Thorncreek Township.
Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. today.
