Mrs. Green was born April 28, 1930 in Lydia, SC to the late Ethan and Fannie Baker.
She was a graduate of Sumter High School School in 1971 after going to night school to finish her last year of school at the age of 41 and worked as a seamstress and a bookkeeper for several years in Sumter and Florence, SC. She was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church in Effingham, SC.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by one brother, Barney Baker, and three sisters, Bonnie Mae Hollman, Doris (US) June, and Frances Hicks.
