MEDARYVILLE -- Services for Elmer Cambe, 81, Rt. 1, who died Sunday morning at the home of his daughter following a long illness. will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kosanke Brothers Funeral Home of Kouts. The Rev. Thomas Reimer will officiate and burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
Born in Remington, IN, on February 23, 1890, he had been a resident of Medaryville for 30 years, coming from Kouts. On Jan. 17, 1917, he married Elsie Peer who preceded him in death in 1957.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Doris Dahn, Medaryville; Miss Bonnie Cambe, Kniman; and Mrs. Clara Clarke, Plymouth; a son, Alvin Cambe, East Gary; 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
