Services for Rev. Daniel (Bozo) Buck were held Feb. 10, 2016 at the Faith Baptist Church in Dustin. Interment followed in the Wetumka Cemetery.

Daniel was born Nov. 27, 1930 to Freeda Harjo Buck and Roley Buck and died Feb. 5, 2016.

He went to Haskell Institute in Lawrence, KS. where he received the Danfort Award as an outstanding senior. He also attended Bacone College.

Daniel served in the United States Army and was stationed overseas in Austria.

He had many gifts and abilities. He owned his own dry cleaning shop for a while in Wetumka. Also, he helped many people as a land man to locate their land and minerals.
God called him into the ministry and he served for many years as pastor of the Faith Indian Baptist Church in Dustin.

His siblings, Evelyn Bucktrot, Helen Sue Wetselline, William Buck and Alex Buck; and his wife, Louise Stapp Buck, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his two daughters, Stephanie Yahola of the home in Wetumka and Freeda Martinez of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Toney Buck; a sister, Estherlene Gee; as well as several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services were under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
