DEERFIELD, Ill. – Warren T. Britten, 78, died here March 18.
Mr. Britten was born on May 20, 1906 in Gladstone. He was in the Army Corps of Engineers for 35 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Aenid Shrine Temple of St. Louis, Mo.
Surviving are a daughter Barbara Britten; three sisters, Viola Weinert of Chicago, and Vivian Erickson and Carol Lahti, both of Iron River; and two brothers, Willard Britten of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Richard Britten of Alamo, Texas. His wife Claire died in 1981.
Services were held on Monday, March 21 at the Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home in Highland Park, Ill.
Burial was in Cushing, Iowa.
