Leo Adams Jr, age 86, of Webster City, IA died Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Blairsburg Cemetery with Pastor Michael Slininger officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Leo Hugh Adams Jr. was born May 7, 1929 in rural Webster City, the son of Leo and Mary Staley Adams. He attended Webster City High School. Leo joined the United States Army and served in Korea and Vietnam attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He spent 26 years as a mechanic in the Army before retiring. He married Helen Ferkin on December 24, 1976 in Belmond. She preceded him in death on December 28, 2014.

Leo is survived by sisters, Edna Bakken of Webster City, Mary Cleone Pelz of Blairsburg, Evelyn Darlene Jones of Dublin, CA; and many extended family.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Andrew and Marvin Adams.
Leo was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.
