Ruby Mary Pauline Killgore Stanley, 89, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 in Marlow.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Marlow Cemetery, with Rev. Kenneth Adams officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Ruby was born Saturday, June 26, 1926 in Lindsay, to Noah Andrew and Leona (Akridge) Adams. She has lived in the Marlow and Lindsay area most of her and attended Dare Schools. Ruby married Douglas Killgore in Chickasha in 1944. She later married Leon Stanley in March 1996 in Marlow, he preceded her in death October 24, 2006. Ruby worked as a caretaker for 10 years. She loved going to church and gospel singing. Ruby enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother. She loved going to family reunions, cooking and taking short trips. She was a member of the Hill Top Church of God in Marlow.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husband, Leon Stanley and Douglas Killgore, 2 sons, Floyd Gene Douglas Andy Killgore and Larry Dana Killgore, 5 brothers, Lenoard Adams, Melford Adams, Alvin Adams, Melford Adams, Ora Adams, Floyd Adams and 2 sisters, Hazel Vaught Stephens and Lenora Dude Graham.
