Wife of Jacob Sipe, son of John & Catherine Sipe.

Daughter of George Whitesel & Susanna Tutwiler

1880 census shows Sarah living with her brother Levi and his wife Margaret.

New notation:

"Sarah married Jacob Sipe on 6 October 1842 in Rockingham County, Virginia. In the 1850 census, she's shown with a son Jacob, age 6, and daughter Susan, age 3. There's a gap in the records, but it appears her husband died sometime before 1870. She's living with her brother, Levi, in Braxton County, West Virginia in the 1880 census.

*Note: She is sometimes mistakenly thought to be the Sarah Sipe who married Jacob Sipe on 15 December 1842."

Her husband's parents as John and Catherine Sipe. But the reality is his parents were probably John and Susannah Bloser, but it's not fully confirmed. I mention it because people are confusing the Sarah Whitesel who married Jacob Sipe with the Jacob Sipe who married Sarah Sipe. And identifying Jacob's parents was probably meant to help with that. But the problem is Jacob and Catherine Sipe, there was only 1 couple with those names in the right age range, were not the parents of the Jacob Sipe who married Sarah Whitesel.
