DUNCAN — Clovis Mer-rell “ C. M. “ Carroll, 84, of Duncan, Okla. died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Lawton. He was born October 1, 1930 to Elmer and Alma Lawlis Carroll in Harrold, Texas. He loved being outdoors, working with animals, and raising award winning rabbits. He was an American Rabbit Breeders Association judge for 45 years, judging shows all over the U.S. He worked as a welder most of his life. Clovis was a loving husband to wife, Carol J. Carroll of the home; father to son, Ron Carroll and wife Everette, of Iowa Park; daughter, Eva Tyler, of Iowa Park; stepson, Larry Zimmerman, of Duncan, Okla.; stepdaughter, Tami Morgan, of North Carolina; sister, Norma Kupiec, of Denton; brother, Tommy Jeffrey, of The Colony, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Dwayne Mayberry, of Duncan. He was preceded in death by: his parents, a son Ray Carroll, a grandson John Tyler and great-granddaughter Cynthia Tyler.

Visitation at the home of Ronald and Everette Carroll, 2-4 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014. A private burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
