Marjean was born May 21, 1931 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Farron Cloward and Elda Knowles Cloward. She grew up and attended schools in Iona and graduated from Iona High School in 1949.
Marjean was first married to Clyde Corn in Iona, Idaho. Clyde passed away on May 5, 1957. On October 11, 1961, she married Kenneth Burns in Lousiville, Kentucky. From this union they were blessed with a daughter, Shelley Burns. Kenneth passed away on December 28, 1992.
Marjean ran a daycare out of her home and always loved caring for and being with children. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marjean was a beautiful painter and an excellent baker. She enjoyed crocheting, completing word puzzles and had a great sense of humor. Marjean enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Brianna Wiltse and adored being with her great granddaughter, Emma.
Marjean is survived by her daughter, Shelley Burns of Reno, NV; granddaughter, Brianna and her husband Joshua Wiltse of Reno, NV; and a great granddaughter, Emma Wiltse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Farron and Elda Cloward; brother, Boyd Cloward; sister, Marsha Holverson; and her husbands, Clyde Corn and Kenneth Burns.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services.
Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
