COFER, STELLA (Our Dolly) - 82, of Arista Care in Cherry Hill, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 7, 2016. She was a woman who loved the Lord and lived by His Word. Stella was an entrepreneur throughout her life, beginning in Atlantic City with the Ohio Market. In 1966 she moved to Cherry Hill where she opened A Shop Called East, was a caregiver at St. Mary's Nursing Home and later owned Stella Cofer's Insurance Agency. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Theodore Cofer, Sr. Stella is survived by her sons Theodore Cofer, Jr. and Paul Cofer, her daughters Dolores "Dee" Arrington and her husband Michael and Veronica "Ronnie" Hopper and her husband Floyd, her grandsons Michael Arrington Jr. and Alexander Arrington, her sister Ethel Taylor, and a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Stella's Life Celebration on Thursday February 11th, 11 AM to 12 Noon, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing where services will be held at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at the Atlantic Co. Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, S.J. Regional Office, 3 Eves Dr., Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053 or online at www.alz.org. (Info and condolences: www.boakesfuneralhome.com)

Stella Cofer was a cancer survivor of more than once; by leaning and standing on God's Word! Mom survived a "miracle heart operation" that was completely successful too: mom's doctors were totally amazed as they had not witness anything like this in 30 years! When Mom arrived at the hospital the operating room was already and completely set up for her unexpected procedure.

She believed in Jehovah God and that was that!

She prayed over others that were sick too. I'm so thankful that God blessed me with a praying mother!

Back in the early 1970's mom and I flew to Florida for intercessory prayer for her dearly beloved mama..

God is Good. ~ God is Life.
