Mrs Henry J. Spaulding, 69, of 22 Page St., died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital where she had been a patient since May 6. She had been ill for the past two years. Mrs Spaulding was born in Battle Creek June 12, 1882, daughter of George and Nina (Rounds) Craven. she was married to Henry J. Spaulding in 1922 in Battle Creek, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Lester L. Hempstead of 150 E Willard Ave., a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Marguerite) Gibson of Fulton; two grandsons and two great grand children; two sisters, Mrs. Harley (Velma) Gourley of 69 South Ave., and Mrs. Leon (Wanita) Palmer of Kalamo; and two brothers, George of Sherwood and Charles of Marshall. Mrs Spaulding was a member of the South Avenue Church of God. ~Newspaper unknown.
