Gerald Wayne Aday, 59, Farlington Lake, Kansas, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 29, 2009, as the result of a vehicle accident.

He was born June 27, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Roy and Delphine (Huber) Aday.

He received an Associate's Degree from Neosho County Community College.

He was the owner/operator of the Speedy Mac's convenience store in Humboldt.

Survivors include his parents, Roy and Delphine Aday, Russellville, AR; three sons, Marcus Aday, Wichita, KS, Jason Aday, Aurora, CO, and Aaron Aday, Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Sharon Gleason, Wichita, KS, Rhonda Dare, Russellville, AR, and Janet Parks, Dardenelle, AR.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be at First Baptist Church in Chanute, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.

Contributions may be made to Cherry Street Youth Center in care of the funeral home.
