Delphine Aday, age 91, of Russellville was carried to Heaven by angels early Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. She was blessed to have passed due to a non-Covid related illness. She was born March 30, 1929, in Talala, Oklahoma to John and Mae Jordan Huber.

She married Roy Aday on April 6, 1946. She was a Member of Second Baptist Church and Arkansas Valley Arts and Crafts Club. She enjoyed crocheting and making things for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Aday; a daughter, Janet Parks; a son, Gerald Aday; a brother, Jack Huber; two sisters, Dorothy Jacobs and infant sister, Ruby Huber; a grandson, Aaron Aday; and a great-grandson, Blayden Parks.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Tommy Gleason of Valley Center, Kansas and Rhonda and David Dare of Dardanelle; a son-in-law, Edward Parks of Dardanelle; four sisters, Gracie Wood, Margie St. John, Alene McClain, and “Tudy” Ruth Garrett all of Oklahoma; six grandsons, Darin Gleason of Shawnee, Kansas, Steven Gleason and wife Joy of Cleveland, Mississippi, Jason Aday of Colorado, Marcus Aday of Colorado, Cody Dare and wife Jamie of Russellville, and Jesse Dare of Lake Dardanelle; and nine great-grandchildren, Avery, Gavin, Ryan, Zach, Emma, Lilly, Alyssa, Piper and Mikey.

A family conducted memorial service for family and friends will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at Second Baptist Church in Russellville.

A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at Brearley Cemetery with Pastor Chris Russell officiating and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Open visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00-4:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Aday, Darin Gleason, Marcus Aday, Steven Gleason, Cody Dare, Jesse Dare and Nabil Oumimoun.
