Don Bert Kidman, 72, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on February 1st, 2016 at LDS Hospital in SLC, Utah. Born in SLC to Wanda Eloise Noble and Bert Fredrick Kidman.
Don earned his Eagle Scout, graduated from Olympus H.S. and served 8 years in the National Guard. He served his electrical apprenticeship and became a Master Electrician in his 53 years membership of local 354 of the IBEW. He married M. Elene Harmon 1963, later divorced. He married the love of his life Jane Lopez in 1977 and their union was blessed by Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in 2014. On that Easter day he was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic religion. He taught his children to work and play. Trips were shared with loved ones over his lifetime.
Preceded in death by parents Eloise and Bert, brother Rodney. Survived by wife Jane, children; Teri Elene Jones, Julie (Lonny) Ruybal, and Troy Don Kidman, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters; Sandra (Dean) Gillen, Tenna (Audie) Hartman, and Melonie (Ron) Williams, and many nieces and nephews.
With "All Our Love" we celebrate his life, holding a viewing on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092. On Friday, February 12, 2016 the Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9757 S 1700 E, Sandy, UT at 10:30 am with interment to immediately follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
