Dorchester are resident Aaron N.Newswanger, 50, was killed last Thursday after the buggy he was riding in was struck by a logging truck on CTH A west of Cherry Avenue in the town of Mayville.
Aaron was born on July 14, 1965, the son of Aaron N. and Mary (Snyder) Newswanger Sr. in New Hollland, Pa. He married Esther Sensenig, the daughter of Ivan and Hettie (Martin) Sensenig, on April 9 , 1987, in Bowmansville, Pa., and in 1994 they moved to Wisconsin. Together they farmed in the township of Mayville until the time of his death.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Esther Newswanger of Curtiss; parents, Aaron N. Newswanger Sr. and Mary S. Snyder of New Holland, Pa.; children, Titus Newswanger at home, Emma (Merlin) Nolt of Greenwood, Andrew, James, Eugene, Mary, Virginia and Susie Newswanger all at home; and his brothers and sisters, Raymond (married to Lucy Martin0 Newsanger of Shippensburg, Pa., Anna Mary (married to Charles) Rozewicz of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Wilmer (married to Arlene Nolt) Newswanger of Newville, Pa., Allvin (married to Arlene Sauder) Newswanger and Marian (married to Eugene) Zimmerman of Rushville, N.Y.
A funeral service will be held Feb 4, 2016 at Sunny Ridge Mennonite Church in the town of Hoard. Mahlon Shirk, Roy Sauder, Nelson Newswanger, Harlan Nolt and Bishop Alvin Martin will preside. Interment will beheld in Sunny Ridge Mennonite Cemetery.
