Wilda Berdean Rolle Beasley, 89, Milltown, formerly of Curby, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Bottles Manor Mini Nursing Home in Milltown. Born June 26, 1926, in Curby, she was the daughter of the late Bealie Alford and Lola Mae Wynn Rolle.
She was a former co-owner of Beasley's General Store, a member of Marengo Wesleyan Church and a 1944 graduate of Leavenworth High School.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Scott Beasley; a brother, Orville G. Rolle; and a sister, Amzel Fortner.Survivors include a son, Danny L. Beasley of Milltown; a sister, Lavone D. Rolle of Milltown; and a nephew, Dr. William Robert Fortner of Floyds Knobs.
Visitation: Monday, Jan. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 26, after 9 a.m. Funeral: Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in El Bethel Cemetery near Milltown. Officiants: Brothers Philo Jones and Brother Steve Lock.
