He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles Campbell and Mrs. James Crosby, both of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. A. J. Pfankuch of Warren, Mich.; a son, Curtis Brooks, of Carmel, Calif.; a brother, Connie Brooks of St. Louis, Mo., and nine grandchildren.

The late Wade Brooks, city fireman, who died January 1 of this year, was a brother.
