Jacqueline, Jackie" Dornhoff, 73, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Bryan/LGH Medical Center East in Lincoln.
Jackie Dornhoff was born April 6, 1931, to Elbert "Jack" S. and Olive J. (Hawes) Haws in Heartwell. She grew up in the Heartwell area and graduated from Minden High School. On Nov. 17, 1948, she married Kenneth Dornhoff in Heartwell.
They farmed in the Heartwell area and in 1999 moved into Minden.
She was active in the Holy Family Catholic Church in Heartwell and later transferred her membership to St. John's Catholic Church in Minden.
She also was a member of the Altar Society and the SINE Group of the church.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Rick, Ron and John, all of Heartwell; one daughter, Julie Dornhoff of Johnson Lake; one sister, Helen Hamilton of Addison, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
