J. D. Cochran died at one a. m Saturday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. R. McAfoose, of Templeton. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. George Henry of Sligo; one daughter. Mrs. J. R. McAfoose of Templeton; two sons, C. G. Cochran of Boggs Township and J L. Cochran of Templeton; also 6 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Cochran was seventy-seven years old on the third day of last June. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion United Presbyterian church, and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. During his sickness he endured his suffering without murmuring and at different times stated that he was ready to go at whatever time the call might come. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of his son, C. G. Cochran, with whom he lived for many years at 2 p. m. Monday. Rev. Ritchey of the Kittanning United Presbyterian church will have charge of the services, assisted by Rev. Harold Woods, pastor of the Templeton Church of God. Interment in the Cochran cemetery.

J. D. Cochran's Funeral
Funeral services for the late J. D. Cochran, who died Saturday morning, were held in the home in Boggs township, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. W. V. Ritchie, pastor of the United Presbyterian church of Kittanning, assisted by Rev. Harold Woods, pastor of the Church of God at Templeton. The services were largely attended and there were many floral tributes which bore mute testimony to the esteem in which the deceased was held by a large circle of friends. The choir sang "Face to Face," "It is Well With My Soul" and "The Lord is My Shepherd." Those acting as pallbearers were W. M. Patton, M. P. Lowry, C. F. Lowry, Will Cochran and Sam Cochran. Interment in the Cochran cemetery.

We wish to extend our thanks to our friends for the kindness shown us during the time of sickness and death of our beloved father, J. D Cochran.
