Burkhart Heinzl, 79, of 936 Eleventh street, died at 4:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home. He had been in failing health for the past six months.

Born in Austria Oct. 11, 1871, he had lived in this country for about 70 years. He was married to Ann Youngwirth July 25, 1895 [23 June 1894], and was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic church.

Surviving are his wife; six daughters, Mrs. Charles W. Malies of Magnolia, New Jersey, Mrs. Theodore S. Serio of Manitowoc, Mrs. Aloysius A. Engelhard and Mrs. Alex Fenske of Milwaukee, Mrs. Karl J. Peterson of Springfield, Illinois, and Mrs. Arthur R. Kelley of this city; four sons, Frank, Fred and Joseph of Oshkosh, and Arthur of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Frank Regal of Winneconne; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning at Fiss & Bills funeral home and 9 a.m. at St. John's Catholic church, the ev. John Murphy officiating. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock Friday evening.
