Worthington Clover Anderson, 91, of Templeton, died Sunday, April 30, 1972 in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. A retired clay miner, Mr. Anderson was employed by Harbinson Walker Refactories. Born November 11, 1880 in Wayne Twp., Armstrong County, he was a son of William T. and Sarah Jane (Smith) Anderson. His wife Charlotte (Hamilton) Anderson died August 1, 1962. Surviving are two sons, William C., Templeton, and James Albert, New Kensington; six daughters. Mrs. Alfretta Kerr, Natrona Heights, Mrs. Erma Anderson, Natrona, Misses Pearl and Serobia Anderson, both at home, Mrs. Harry (Bessie) Elkin, Kittanning, and Mrs. Raymond (Ann) Cobbett, Templeton RD2; five brothers, Alfred and Incel, Templeton RD1, Orien, New Jersey, Merle, Kittanning RD2, and Stanley, Smicksburg RD1; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Steffy and Mrs. Mamie Kirkpatrick, Dayton, and Mrs. Etta Mumaw, New Bethlehem RD4; 12 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren. Friends are being received at Merwin-Kennedy Funeral home, Kittanning, after 7 Monday evening where services will be held Wednesday, May 3, at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be C. Richard Main, pastor of Templeton Church of God. Burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery.
