Kenneth Hatch – 95, born in Fruitland, NM died peacefully January 23, 2016 in his Snowflake home with his children around him.

He has gone to join his parents Ira Asa Hatch and Margaret Gallagher Hatch, his wife of 50 years Velma Flake Hatch and his wife of 16 years Sharon Downing Alexander Hatch, his daughter Sue and his sisters and brothers.

He is leaving behind his children, Vera, Gerry, Donna, Larry, Amy, Alex and Ervin, their spouses, children and grandchildren and his step son Dan Alexander and his sister Elaine Haws and her husband Drensel. Also four Indian placement program participants who came to live with us to go to school and became a part of our family, Stephen Gamble, Donaldson June, Edward Fuson and Richard Kelsey.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a served many missions as a Stake and Ward missionary. He served two full-time missions, one with each of his wives. He served in the Army during WWII in a Quartermaster Depot both in the states and in the Philippines.

He loves the Lord Jesus Christ and wanted everyone to learn of him. He served as a temple worker for around 20 years and attended as often as he could even when his health started failing.

The funeral will be Saturday January 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Temple View Chapel at 2885 W Hwy 277, Snowflake, Arizona 85937. We will have a viewing the evening before, Friday January 29th, from 6 to 9 pm at the same location. A second viewing will be one hour before the funeral.


Interment will be Monday, February 1st, at 9:30 AM at the Mesa Cemetery.

We will have a get together after the dedication, to reminisce, at the Porter Park Ward building 1852 N. Stapley Dr, Mesa, Arizona 85203
