Born Oct. 8, 1909, in Orbisonia, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Anna M. (Golden) Gaibraith. She was united in marriage to Raymond G. Bollinger Feb. 14, 1934, in Cumberland, Md., by N.E. Webb. Mr. Bollinger preceded her in death May 13, 1993.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donald L. (Rose Marie) Horton of Lewistown, R.R. 2, and Mrs. Richard T. (Jean) Hunter of Montoursville, R.R. 2; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by three brothers; John F. Gaibraith, James Darrell Galbraith and Edward 0. Gaibraith, and one sister, Josephine A. Mabel Rishel. For many years, Mrs. Bollinger was an active member of the Sugar Run Church of the Brethren in Hill Valley, where she was a lifetime deaconess, taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir and held many church offices.
She was a member of the Mount Union Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and for many years was a nurse at the American Red Cross bloodmobiles in Mount Union. She was a 1927 graduate of Orbisonia High School and was a 1934 graduate of the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a pediatric nurse at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Funeral services will be held at Sugar Run Church of the Brethren, Hill Valley, with Pastors Jim Hullihen, Douglas Sherlock and William Somers officiating. Interment will be made in Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, R.R. 1.
