Gus passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at River Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville. He was born January 19, 1933 in Gainesville, Texas to Harmel Joe and Viola Comer. He was an oilfield worker and ranch worker. Gus loved to be outdoors, fishing gardening and hunting. He loved his family and friends . He never met a stranger and loved making friends.
Survivors include, daughter, Pam Comer of Gainesville; step-daughter, Theresa Moore of Gainesville; brother, Billy Wayne Comer; sister, Betty Zachary and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Comer; parents, Harmel and Viola Comer and son, Mike Comer.
