Russel (Bob) Owen Whitaker, age 82, passed away in Edmonds, WA, on January 10, 1998.
Born May 9, 1912 in Heber City to Orson Adelbert Whitaker and Clara Fotheringham. Married Aileen Ivy Evans [24 July 1936]. She preceded him in death. Married Harriett Johnson.
Russel, with his brothers, Berlin, Ferrin, Scott, were original owners of the Homestead in Midway.
Survived by his wife, Harriett of Idaho; 2 sons, John Evans Whitaker and wife, Carol, Edmonds, WA, and James Russel Whitaker, Oxnard, CA; 2 brothers, Ferrin, Provo, and Jack, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Olpin Mortuary Chapel with a viewing 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery.
