Mrs. Melinda Kathryn Spotts of Marion, Arkansas died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis.

Mrs. Spotts was born September 23, 1951 in Memphis. She was the daughter of Virgil C. Merrell and June Edmondson Merrell. Mrs. Spotts had lived in Eastern Arkansas all of her life was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church in West Memphis. She had been a member of the Junior Auxiliary and was very active in the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Spotts is survived by two daughters, Michelle Erica Raines of Marion and Merrell Megan Conlee of Crawfordsville; a son Joshua McKee Spotts of Memphis; her mother, June E. Merrell of Forrest City; a sister, Sherri Merrell of Forrest City; a brother, Kem Merrell of Forrest City. Two grandchildren also survive her.

Burial at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
