Emmett, the little son of Elder D.T. Broadus who was reported in the News of last week, as much better, died Saturday morning at 5 o'clock. Emmett was a very loveable child, quiet, and thoughtful beyond his years. His age was 5 years, 6 months and 29 days. The interment was in Pleasant Valley cemetery near Hukle. The funeral services were held in the Hukle grove and conducted by Elder J.E. Cain. This bereavement following a week, the death of their other son, Paul, falls very heavy upon Mr. Broadus and family. They have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
