Clarence was born the third child to Edward and Sarah (Yoders) McQuiston. His nickname was "Pete" by his sisters and brothers. At the time of his death he was survived by his wife Elsie and two daughters, Beverly Diane and Barbara Jean. Clarence and Elsie married on September 6, 1932.
