CRANE Cleophus "Clee" Harmon, 73, of Crane, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Wake services are scheduled at 6 p.m. Friday at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane. Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Crane. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery in Crane. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
He was born in Gilmer. He was a Christian and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Crane.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Crane. Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Crane. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Clee was born on March 26, 1942 to Buster and Hula Mae Hollins Harmon in Gilmer, Texas. He attended schools at Mt. Enterprise, Olton and Crane Bethune High School.
He was a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his death on the Usher Board and also Emeritus Sunday School Superintendent. Clee was a Christian witness who had no problem asking people he met if they Prayed every day and went to Church.
Clee was Crane’s number one sports fan and supporter. He attended EVERY sports event he could. He greatly loved all the kids and the kids loved him as well. He never met a stranger, no matter where he went. In November, 2015, he was honored at Crane High School’s Homecoming and pep rally. He was so happy and he deemed himself as “The Man of Crane County!”
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, O. D. Collier, C. H. Childs and R. C. Harmon all of Fort Worth, as well as Billy Gene Harmon of California, and his sister Betty Anderson of Fort Worth, Texas.
He is survived by his loving two sisters, Alma Nails and Ruby Nell Cole of Fort Worth, who practically raised him. Also, a host of nieces, nephews and friends all over the world. As well as his family in Crane, Jacky and Daisy Jeffery, who he often referred to as his parents and their children.
