DINGUS/MCCONNELL CONNECTION: Anna w/o of Kelly Dingus, Kelly s/o Elmon L and Emma (Clark) Dingus, Elmon s/o James Henderson and Sarah Belieu (Halbert) Dingus, James s/o William and Mary Ann (Green) Dingus, William s/o Philip and Nancy McConnell Dinges/us.

Anna Dingus, 83 of Martin, died Sunday May 7, 1995 at Central Baptist Hospital following an extended illness. Born December 9, 1911 at Martin. She was the daughter of the late Alexander Hamilton 'Hall' Flannery and Poppy Bradley Flannery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Dingus.

Survivors include three sons, J.O. Dingus, Ralph Waldo Dingus and Colin Kelly Dingus, all of Martin; seven daughters, Alka Smith of Los Angeles, California, Naomi Combs of McDowell, Iona Hinkle of Wadsworth, Ohio and Yvonne Mosley, Mary Lois Baldridge, Ruth Shelton and Tiffany D. Burke, all of Martin; one sister Nola Hasto of Cleveland, Ohio; 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 10 at 1p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Martin with Rev. Lori Vannucci officiating. Burial will be in the Dingus Cemetery at Dinwood, Martin under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home.


She married Kelly Dingus 15 MAR 1930 in Floyd Co. KY. He was born 9 JAN 1904 in Floyd Co. KY.
