Funeral services for Floy Bernice “Bee” Garner Cunningham Wiegers, 83, of Lufkin will be held October 14, 2017 in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later time in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Wiegers was born February 28, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Katherine Charity and Edgar Hayes Garner, and died Thursday, October 12, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Wiegers was raised in Mauriceville. She had resided in Sugarland for 15 years prior to moving to Lufkin in 1993. She was a Hostess for Wal-Mart and Sam’s for six years. Mrs. Wiegers was a member of the Esther Sunday School Class at Denman Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include Dessie Garner; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Dean Wiegers; son, John Cunningham, Jr.; brothers, John Edgar Garner, Sr., Earl H. Garner, Bobby G. Garner, and Jerry W. Garner; and sisters, Katherine Neel and Grace McClellan.
