Nathan Blom of Rego Park, NY and Largo, FL died peacefully on December 25, 2015. He was 95 years old. He was born in London, England and came to the United State after World War Two. With the exception of the time he served in the British Army during World War Two, he was a professional chef. He was a member of Rugby Lodge, Knights of Pythias and many chef's organizations in New York.
He was the widower of Sara Zwetchkenbaum and of Charlotte Shupler Rothstein. He leaves his son Michael Blom and his wife Doris and his daughter, Judith Zimmer and her husband Richard, his grandchildren Joshua Blom, Sara Blom, Jared Zimmer and Ethan Zimmer, and his great-grandchildren, Owen and Annabelle Zimmer.
The funeral will be held at New Montefiore Cemetery on Long Island on Tuesday, December 29th at 2:00PM.
