She was born June 19, 1915 in Watauga County, a daughter of Robert A. and Clemmie Watson Wellborn.
Mrs. Graybeal was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She worked as a cafeteria supervisor at both Deep Gap and Parkway Elementary Schools. She also was an assistant postmaster and assistant mail carrier at both the Deep Gap and Fleetwood Post Offices.
Survivors include four daughters, three sons, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, and four brothers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Graybeal; and three brothers, Paul, James and Arthur Wellborn.
Burial will follow in the Laurel Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
