Dwight Barefoot, 84, of Newton Grove died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry D. Barefoot.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Reedy Prong Primitive Baptist Church by Elder Ray King and the Rev. Ray Smeltzer Jr. Entombment will be at the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Barefoot; daughter, Wanda B. Cole and husband Ronald S.; son, Grady M. Barefoot; grandchildren, Daniel J. Elledge and wife Lindsey of Poquoson, Va., Joseph L. Barefoot of Hampton, Va., and Crystal L. Barefoot of Henderson; and great-grandchildren, Jason and Katlin Hunt.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove.
