Emanuel Frick, was born on Jan. 20, 1846, in Stark County, Ohio, to Abraham and Sarah (Kring) Frick of St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Emanuel came to South Bend, Ind. With he family As a young man.
On Oct. 15, 1871, he married Mary Ann Kreisher, of Center Twp., St. Joseph Co. Ind., the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Urich) Kreisher of St. Joseph Co.
Emanuel spent his life farming the land he loved. Emanuel was educated in the St. Joseph school system, and spent much of his time working with other farmers in the area on new ways of planting and working the land.
In the union between Emanuel and Mary, four children were born, Allie, Willie, Emma, and Clara.
On June 12, 1925, Emanuel passed away at his hone in Lakeville, Ind. of natural causes. He was laid to rest beside his loving wife in Bowman Cemetery, South Bend, Ind..
